I received some great news from my publisher today. The Barnes & Noble stores in Fort Wayne have chosen to stock Insignificant Moments on their shelves! Getting a book on the shelves of bookstores is one of a writer’s greatest challenges. I want to say thank you to all of the many readers who have given such positive ratings and reviews on barnes&noble.com, amazon.com, Goodreads, Facebook, and blogs. I enjoy reading each one of them and appreciate the time you give to writing a review!

For all of the readers who have asked if I am working on anything else, the answer is yes. I have 75% of my second novel written. This novel is more of a traditional romance. It has more emotional depth to it than my first novel. I’ve also been able to use some of my own personal experiences in it, which has been fun. The theme has to do with the timeliness of love, and I think that you will all enjoy it.

Lessons Learned

It’s been nearly a month since my last blog. I’ve been busy with the launch of Insignificant Moments. In addition to trying to stay on top of the marketing madness, I’ve also been working on my second novel, which mostly takes place in beautiful Chicago. I was there doing some research recently. One thing is for sure: Downtown Chicago is no place to be driving on a Saturday night. Of course, it didn’t help that there were streets blocked off for Transformers 3. It was kind of cool driving past the sets, props, and actors, but I had to downplay it all when I told my wife about it because she was not happy with the fact that I didn’t take any pictures or try to get any autographs. Lesson learned: I will be using some form of public transportation when getting around downtown on my next trip to the windy city. Other than the extreme driving, it was a very nice trip.

Insignificant Moments

Insignificant Moments is my first novel. I feel that this story is one that many will find both entertaining and relatable. It’s about the complicated journey to love, full of setbacks and dynamic relationships. After letting the girl of his dreams slip through his fingers, Jaye Logan writes a simple and heartfelt email, then sends it out to cyberspace. Three years later, after his email finds its way back to him, he sets out on a journey to live life and find love. Throughout his journey he runs into the people whose lives were forever changed by his email. Jaye’s journey takes him on the adventure of a lifetime. I hope you enjoy this story.
